Das Lied When the Roll Is Called Up Yonder ist von James M. Black, 1893 und handelt von der Wiederkunft des Herrn wie sie in 1 Thessalonicher 4:16-17 und der Offenbarung 20:12 beschrieben ist. It is one of the most popular Christian hymns of all time. The song was inspired by the idea of The Book of Life mentioned in the Bible, and by the absence of a child in Black's Sunday school class when the attendance was taken.[1] (Wikipedia)
